Ahmadu Bello University is one of the oldest university in Nigeria. It was founded in Zaria in October 1962, they started with four faculties and 426 students.
This tertiary institution was named after its founder, the first ruler of Northern Nigeria. at present, the university span a 7,000-hectare site, this make it one of the largest in sub-Saharan Africa.
